My husband and I were on our way back from vacation and one of his crowns popped out. Dr. Thorup made an effort to fit him in and fix his crown ASAP. Dr. Thorup has been my dentist for this last year and I’ve always been impressed by his service. I was in awe of how he went above and beyond to help my husband (who wasn’t currently a patient). I absolutely love Dr. Theurer and his whole team (especially Brittany)! They have made going to the dentist a much more enjoyable experience. They are efficient and thorough, always checking back in with you after a procedure to make sure you’re feeling okay. In particular I had the pinhole gum rejuvenation treatment for receding gums and despite my nerves about it, I could not be happier with the results. The pain was minimal and Dr. Theurer was very reassuring the whole time. If you’re in need of this treatment, I would not hesitate to tell you to go see Dr. Theurer. Also a big plus is their extended hours to get more people in before and after work/school. It’s so nice to be able to find a time that won’t interrupt my day. I highly recommend Dr. Theurer if you’re looking for a new dentist!

Dr. Theurer and his staff are everything I hope to find in a dentist office. Punctual, clean, friendly, gentle, honest, and thorough. He's got a great eye--he placed a crown on my tooth implant that looks natural as can be. Fillings are painless and easy. At one point I had a gum infection (yuck) that he quickly diagnosed. It was causing me gum discomfort and bleeding. After a specialized medical cleaning, my gums are in great shape again. Thank you Dr. T and staff!!

After recently moving to Salt Lake City, having to find new medical care was a chore. I am so happy I found The Sugar House Dentist! The best dentistry practice I have ever been to. One of my main reasons of trying this place out is that they offer fluoride free teeth cleaning! I have always hated going to the dentist and it was always an uncomfortable place to be. I am a relatively new patient here and so far my experience and interaction with the staff members have been nothing but amazing. They are so kind, helpful, considerate, and most importantly they were informative and kept me in the loop about everything they were doing. I feel Dr. Theurer is meticulous, experienced, and careful. I am grateful I was able to get my root canal done by him and his team. He also throws in a few jokes while he’s performing on your teeth 😂 it lightens up the mood. Thanks for everything! I’ll be coming here routinely until I need to move again for my husband’s military service relocation. If I could have this practice for the rest of my years, I would totally only go to them!

I came to this office for the pinhole gum surgery technique when my gum recession became uncomfortable. Dr. Theurer and his staff all did a wonderful job. He was super friendly and explained everything clearly so I understood exactly what would happen. The procedure was painless and the recovery was smooth. Most recently I came back to their office for a second opinion with some cavities another dentist told me I had. Dr. Theurer walked through the x-rays with me to explain what cavities look like and what healthy teeth look like. Turns out I didn't have any cavities. The office didn't charge me for the appointment or the x-ray. I will definitely be switching to this office for my regular dental cleaning!

I have seen Dr. David Thorup for dental work on my front teeth. My front teeth did not look very good during my growing up years and I was made fun of. This caused me to hide my teeth and not smile. Down the road when I became an adult, I consulted with Dr. Thorup about doing veneers to help make my front teeth look better and help me feel more confident with my smile. I decided to move forward with the treatment and I'm glad I did. Dr. Thorup went above and beyond what was expected to make sure I had the best results possible. Thank you Dr. Thorup and Dr. Theurer, You are hands down the best in every way possible! First visit, I was impressed with Dr. Theurer, his knowledge, attention to details as well as the options available as I needed 3 dental implants. Even though I met with other dentists prior, I knew he was the best and I’m not wrong plus he bought me a book which became one of my favorites. Dr Thorup who is in charge of my dental work is just brilliant and his assistant as well (she is awesome.. sorry I forgot your name... How dare I? I love you) I got 3 implants done and got my big beautiful smile back... my friends can’t tell the difference between the implants and my original teeth! Hands down the best and most affordable dental experience I ever had at the highest quality and professionalism! Everyone who works there is just awesome!

I had an emergency dental situation where my crown came off. This dentist was able to get me in the same day (Friday) and made sure all was good. Highly recommended! They are open Friday and Saturday (most dentists aren't)!

There are many Dentists to choose in the Salt Lake Valley. I have yet to meet one with the caliber quality of care and service as Theurer Family Dental. I recently had to find a new Dentist due to mine retiring. Distraught I wouldn’t find one as amazing, with some searching, I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Theurer. Walking into the office is always a pleasure like no other Dentist offers. The office is warm and welcoming. You are greeted by a beautiful fish tank in the waiting room. The offices are always clean and tidy. Dr. Theurer is very attentive with me and respectful of my wishes. Prices are a bargain for the services provided! The Theurer Dental team makes me feel like family.
