Dr. Mackenzie Feringa, DMD is a Salt Lake City transplant originally from Michigan. She attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry for her doctorate and completed her General Practice Residency at the University of Utah where she received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Feringa also earned her undergraduate degree in zoology from Michigan State University. Her passion for transforming smiles and creating confidence in others is what inspired her to pursue dentistry.

Dr. Feringa looks forward to developing trusting patient relationships while building healthy and beautiful teeth. In her free time, she loves rock climbing, skiing, hiking, and exploring Utah.

This dentist is office is clean and very professional. They took care of a cracked filling and recently did a crown for me. Everything was done perfectly and done right. Dr. Thorup was awesome explained step by step process and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dentist office and Dr. Thorup!

I have seen Dr. David Thorup for dental work on my front teeth. My front teeth did not look very good during my growing up years and I was made fun of. This caused me to hide my teeth and not smile. Down the road when I became an adult, I consulted with Dr. Thorup about doing veneers to help make my front teeth look better and help me feel more confident with my smile. I decided to move forward with the treatment and I'm glad I did. Dr. Thorup went above and beyond what was expected to make sure I had the best results possible. Thank you Dr. Thorup and Dr. Theurer, You are hands down the best in every way possible! First visit, I was impressed with Dr. Theurer, his knowledge, attention to details as well as the options available as I needed 3 dental implants. Even though I met with other dentists prior, I knew he was the best and I’m not wrong plus he bought me a book which became one of my favorites. Dr Thorup who is in charge of my dental work is just brilliant and his assistant as well (she is awesome.. sorry I forgot your name... How dare I? I love you) I got 3 implants done and got my big beautiful smile back... my friends can’t tell the difference between the implants and my original teeth! Hands down the best and most affordable dental experience I ever had at the highest quality and professionalism! Everyone who works there is just awesome!
